CHANGE IN THE WORKPLACE

At MiND.U we help you turn your vision for change into a reality. Change in the workplace is at an all-time high, yet it often remains a challenge to navigate. Change is a slippery sucker because you don’t have control of all the moving parts. However, that doesn’t negate being intentional about what you’re trying to achieve through change, as well as developing agility to stay the – sometimes bumpy – course.

Change is an adaptive challenge rather than a technical one. Understanding that means becoming aware of how you react to change and creating space to respond proactively rather than reactively, accepting a level of discomfort and uncertainty. MiND.U focuses on helping you navigate, manage and lead change more effectively as a core capability of your business. Our various workshops and offerings can help you build the right mindset, techniques and approach so your organisation, teams and people can better adapt to and navigate change.

“Change is as much a way of being as a way of doing.”

– Lotty Roberts

Team Culture Journeys

To truly develop a successful and enabled workplace culture takes time. Most culture transformations are a journey not a one-stop ‘workshop’.
This is why at MiND.U we focus on developing culture and leadership journeys.
Change may be inspired by one workshop but that inspiration is rarely enough to actually make the change happen. At MiND.u we focus on creating a development journey that works with you and are there walking the path with you to help you get the results you desire.

Managing the Emotions of Change

Change is first and foremost an emotional process that brings up a lot of feelings. Yet often the emotional side of change is not the focus. In this workshop, we put emotions front and centre to understand how to best journey through and cope with change. Using the ‘Emotional Culture Deck’ we’ll work with you to build a change canvas that will help set you up for success.

Resilience Through Change

There is nothing more constant than change.

Change is a reality of life, yet we often find it uncomfortable and challenging. The best way to navigate change and uncertainty in our external world is to first understand what is happening in our internal world. During this session, we’ll explore what happens in our minds during uncertain times and how that shows up in our emotions and behaviours. You’ll also learn practical tips to support yourself through times of change.

Mindfulness in the workplace

There are many disruptions and distractions in our modern workplace. The frantic pace of change, more innovation, accelerating digitisation, increased challenges and opportunities – it’s all happening. The crucial skills and capabilities required, are the ability to continually evolve your mindset and develop new habits – all while staying deeply connected to ourselves and each other.

Emotions in the workplace

Understand your people, connect your teams and evolve your culture, using the power of emotions. A focus on how people feel at work is often the missing link in organisational culture. Traditionally the focus has been on how people think and behave, which is important but it’s only one side of the ‘culture coin’.

“Lotty’s standout leadership traits centre around her vision for change, tenacity to make it happen and ability to tell a story that resonates strongly with her audience. The passion she has for what she does cascades through the teams of people she leads. In my time working with Lotty, I first hand experienced her ability to motivate, coach and mentor those around her to achieve great things and realise their full potential. Lotty challenges the norm and breaks new ground to make things happen – something all great leaders must have the confidence to do.”

Ben Gamble

“Lotty delivered workshops at our management offsites: Navigating Change the Mindful Way and it was outstanding! It was incredibly well received by the entire team, many of them have since been talking about it weeks later, letting me know how useful they have found it both in a professional and personal sense. We are now working on our leadership development so we continue to deliver meaningful coaching, mentoring and training sessions. I’m looking forward to continuing our collaboration! Thanks heaps Lotty!”

‘Lotty has a natural talent to present in a natural and fun way which engages the team and encourages participation. She also brings all the contributions together in a cohesive manner and you actually get real tangible outcomes. She also has delivered fantastic results through coaching.

I can’t recommend Lotty enough – her industry knowledge in terms of team wellbeing, culture and mindfulness is amazing – but its her translation of this through her delivery and engagement which sets her apart.’
